It is enough to say Real Madrid to make millions of hearts from all around the world beat faster. It is impossible to explain the meaning it has for the madridismo, feelings are like that, inexplicable and unimaginable to the ones who has never experienced them. Real Madrid is the benchmark for excellence in the history of world football, the best club of the twentieth century, but the past means everything and nothing for the madridistas, fans that has witnessed the greatest glories, aware of the magic, the love for the crest and the reflection of an institution whose lordship excels the one from every other club.

These fans are the result of millions of actions combined on and off the field, those that do not recognize ideologies or appearances, that make the tears fall down our cheeks without being considered exaggerations, that make us celebrate every goal as if it were the last, those that manage to make us forget everything for a while, that teach us to appreciate football as an art, that make us dream and always expect the best, that show that the unthinkable can be a reality, that teach us that a match is never lost before it ends, that make the Santiago Bernabéu our home without ever having stepped on its field and the ones who give their souls defending the pride of the club in our idols, those that are an example for our life beyond football, but, specially, those that make trophies look insignificant … and there will be an infinity more to live, enjoy, feel because Real Madrid is a love that lasts forever, like a tattoo where each detail matters but not the pain it might cause, because it stays in the past as an anecdote and an incentive in the road we had to walk to become the greatest, but that’s not everything because you are never great enough to stop fighting.
